The HW1-R mains-powered heat alarm is for dusty or humid rooms where traditional smoke alarms can’t be installed. Designed for Class A2 detection, this heat alarm will sound a warning when the ambient temperature in a room is between 54°C and 70°C.

Features:

• Fewer False Alarm : Ideal for the kitchen, the HW1-R heat alarm won’t be triggered by humidity or dust, so you’ll be alerted to fires without nuisance false alarms from cooking fumes.
• Interlink Multiple Alarm : The HW1-R heat detector functions perfectly as a standalone unit but can also be hardwired and interconnected with up to 12 mains-powered smoke (SW1), heat (HW1), or carbon monoxide (CW1) alarms.
• Backup Battery : The mains-powered heat alarm is fitted with a backup 9V battery, ensuring that your home remains protected even during a power cut.
• Suitable for Domestic Premises Only : Suitable for domestic properties only. Not suitable for commercial properties.
